Currently, we are experiencing a pandemic that history has not seen before. Although we are being told to quarantine ourselves, not many are following that as a guideline. Access to safe-sex supplies is already a struggle for many people. Due to COVID-19, this struggle only increases. We as people continuously hear about keeping ourselves and our spaces clean during a pandemic, yet are rarely discussing how sexual health and intimacy fit into these conversations. So, what can sex educators do to help? The We Won't Be Silenced (WWBS) campaign will be helping during this time by delivering safe-sex supplies to folks in Rhode Island. In February, a local yoga studio held a sweat for a cause event to help raise money for the #WWBSCAMPAIGN. Having the ability to connect with an organization and make this possible was amazing!
